Care Jobs Website Design Project
Some estimates suggest that as much as 10% of Britain’s workforce is employed by the health and social care sector, meaning that this is one of the country’s largest job markets. Care Jobs UK aims to help carers and other professionals within this sector to find new job opportunities that suit their skills.
The website we created for this client has a responsive, mobile-friendly design. This means that, wherever you are and whatever device you’re using, it’s easy to browse the latest UK care jobs, save the jobs that appeal to you, and apply for those jobs online.
Browsing Vacancies
We gave the Care Jobs UK website a clean, modern design that makes it easy for jobseekers to see what opportunities are currently available. Users can simply view all current vacancies, or they can use the job search options to narrow things down a bit – for example, you could search for all jobs within a specific region, or set the filters to show only permanent roles. Job listings are also categorised by industry sector (e.g. domiciliary care, hospital staff).
Saving Jobs
It’s possible to submit applications through Care Jobs UK without creating an account; however, if you do choose to register, you’ll be able to save interesting jobs, making them easier to revisit later. This is achieved simply by clicking the heart icon next to any job listing that catches your eye – after that, you can log in at any time and see a list of all the jobs you’ve saved. This is a useful feature if you’re on the go and you want to bookmark a particular job so that you can give the application your full attention when you get home.
Submitting an Application
Once you’ve found a job that appeals to you, the Care Jobs UK website makes the application process very straightforward indeed. All you have to do is click ‘Apply Now’ and fill out the application form to put yourself forward for the job in question. The application form that we created features special fields for your employment history, allowing you to go into plenty of detail about your previous experience and include as many past roles as you wish.
