Responsive Websites: Howells Legal
Howells are a firm of lawyers with offices all over South Wales. They needed a responsive website that would encourage people to get in touch and hire them; we feel that the final design epitomises what a modern site should look like, giving users that important sense of professionalism that’s essential when dealing with legal matters. Our graphic design team used white and navy as base colours to give the site a very clean look, working together with our UI guys to create a slick site layout that’s well-suited to screens of all sizes. Furthermore, the site’s custom-built blog engine gives the Howells team a truly outstanding platform where they can demonstrate their expertise and insight to potential clients.
Keyword Optimisation
Since Howells are based in South Wales, we optimised the website so that it would show up for a variety of localised search terms – ‘cardiff solicitors’ and ‘swansea divorce’, for example. The site shows up on the first page of Google results for a wide variety of terms like this, which attracts site traffic from all the right places. Additionally, the cutting-edge responsive design ensures that people can use the website anywhere and everywhere; whether you’re browsing the internet at home or using your smartphone on a train, the Howells Legal site will be equally easy to use.
News Section
When we first met with Howells to discuss their requirements, they asked if we could include in their new website a blog engine that would allow them to post news items and advisory articles on a regular basis. Of course, we were more than up to this task – the website’s ‘News’ section is attractive and easy to navigate, with a separate sub-section for legal ‘guides’, which are written by the firm’s experienced specialists. Additionally, each individual blog post has an ‘Enquire Here’ button that helps to drive traffic from the blog to a conversion page.
Online Divorce Feature
This site isn’t solely geared towards generating enquiries. Howells were keen to place a lot of emphasis on their online divorce packages, and this aspect of their business really shines on the new responsive website. The online divorce service allows users to purchase all the necessary documentation for divorcing online; once again, our responsive design makes this part of the site even more versatile and easy-to-use. The website also features a call back option so that Howells can speak to clients in more detail about the matter.
