One of the innovative features that Rock ‘N’ Critters were keen to incorporate into their new website is the coral finder. This search box, which is featured on the homepage, allows customers to search for a specific coral species by its unique product number. The user is then taken to the corresponding product page, where they can find out more about their chosen species, check the price, and order their preferred frags and colonies online. In store they have an iPad that allows you to punch the numbers in and see the respective coral from the display tanks. It’s super quick and easy to see prices and information.
Latest Corals Page
The latest corals page was added to the Rock ‘N’ Critters website to allow the team to continually update the site with the new corals that they have sourced that week. This page is perfect for reef enthusiasts who are interested in adding new and exciting corals to their aquariums on a regular basis. The corals can be organised by price, name or stock level, making it incredibly easy for the user to find the right corals for their tank.
Aquarium Guides
Another request that was important to the team at Rock ‘N’ Critters was the ability to assist customers with guides for things like calculating water volume in your aquarium, how to calculate live rock requirements for your tank, a recommended lighting schedule, water parameter guides, how to care for corals and even a fish compatibility guide. These guides have been created in a downloadable format and are available in the guides pages.
